For the ones who perfect one thing.
Craftsmanship inspires me — the patience, the material knowledge, the skill handed from one generation to the next. So I build a house around each craft and set it in the country that craft comes from: a Black Forest clock house, a Cremona violin bench, a barong workshop in Laguna, an hour from where I was born.
Every one on the map it belongs to, lit by the real hour of its own day.
